These sketches are different succulents that i found pictures of online. i am planning to use acrylic paints and do all different types of succulents that are green and purple, with a dark blue/purple color in the background. 

This practice with acrylic paints taught me how to use not just one color to avoid it looking all the same. 

This is my fabric painting before i threw it away because it looked so bad. Then i tried again and failed even worse. This practice taught me how to work on shading with paints and how to use light and dark colors. also it taught me i need to work on contour lines. 

This practice taught me how to explore with acrylic paints and how to work with them. i could've tried to add more texture to the desk in the painting, and made the grey background all the same shade of grey.
