this is my most recent project i am working on. I wanted to do something that looks simple and minimalist. I chose fruit slices because they are an everyday thing people see, and the background is a bright color to make them stand out.

Project progress
i am continuing to work on this. I wanted to do a scene of tropical leaves and flower, and i got my inspiration from hibiscus flowers.

i am currently working on painting this so i can practice for my real next project. I am learning how to shade and see different perspectives in my artwork.
Project Progress
I am planning to do hummingbirds with colorful vines hanging down with flowers on them. I chose a longer board because i want to make this have an effect that makes people look up and down. The reference photo is how i will draw the hummingbirds, as well as do a few in a different position.
Project 5
I used a background for this piece again, and i saw the shape of a turtle shell in this one. So i added the design to the shell with a fan brush, and added strokes of white to it also. The black and white specks on the turtle legs is supposed to represent texture on a real turtle.
Project 4 and Reference Picture
I used this online picture to create this piece. I thought the background i chose looked like a mountain scene, so i sketched out the mountain then added the green and brown colors, along with shadows.
